conversation the other night -

T: "Daddy, where is Jesus?"

Me: "He's right here.  He is always with us.  We just can't see Him right now."

T: "Will we see Him tomorrow?"

Me: "I don't know.  Maybe.  Probably not."

T: "When we see Him, can He take a picture with us?"

  1. The three year old gets the real physical reality of the resurrected Christ better than I do. So was Jesus going to hold the camera or be in the picture? I love this trusting expression of faith in the real bodily Lord who is welcome to be here with us.

  2. He wanted Jesus in the picture with us. Though, note at first he thought Jesus was not here because we could not see Him
